Pune airport is at Lohegaon in north-east Pune. It is a civil enclave at an Indian Air Force station, and a new passenger terminal opened in 2024. These are the residential areas closest to it.

• Viman Nagar: right next to the airport, with Phoenix Marketcity and offices on Nagar Road.
• Lohegaon and Dhanori: north and west of the airport, mostly newer apartment projects.
• Vishrantwadi and Tingre Nagar: on the Alandi road side, west of the airport.
• Kalyani Nagar and Yerwada: south-west, close to the river and the Aqua Line.
• Wadgaon Sheri and Kharadi: east along Nagar Road, near EON IT Park and WTC.

What to check near an airport

• Height limits: buildings near an airport need height clearance under airport zoning rules. Check that the project has it and that the floors you are buying are within the approved plan.
• Noise: visit at different times of day and check which side of the runway approach the building is on.
• Approvals: check the project on MahaRERA and ask for the Occupancy Certificate for ready flats.
