Builders and developers in Pune
Pune has hundreds of registered developers, from national names to local firms that build one project at a time. A big name is not a guarantee, and a small firm is not a red flag. Check every builder the same way.
How to check a builder
- MahaRERA: search the project and the promoter on MahaRERA. Read the registration, approved plans, promised completion date and quarterly progress updates.
- Past projects: visit one or two completed projects. Ask residents whether possession was on time and whether the OC and conveyance were done.
- Complaints and orders: MahaRERA lists complaints and orders against registered projects.
- Title and approvals: ask for the title report and Commencement Certificate, and have a lawyer read the agreement for sale.
- Bank approvals: ask which lenders have approved the project for home loans.
